Where it started
As a software engineering leader with over a decade of experience building software, including class III medical devices where security and privacy are essential, I spent my career solving complex technical challenges. Yet every morning, when my wife and I dropped our two kids off at daycare, I saw a very different problem.
Our local providers were incredible at giving our children a safe, nurturing place to grow. Behind the scenes, though, they spent hours each week handling manual admin work and updating endless spreadsheets just to manage enrollment, scheduling, and basic operations.
At the same time, as parents using the available software, we knew the day-to-day experience could be much better. The existing options felt frustrating, complicated, and out of touch with what families actually need.

Building a better way
I knew there was a better way to do this.
I built Limmia to give childcare directors and staff their time back while offering parents a clean, simple experience. Limmia combines strong data protection with a straightforward design that cuts out unnecessary administrative steps.
